About 254 schools with 1,750 students from all over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Hyderabad, Pondicherry, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands participated in the CBSE South Zone Swimming Competition held at Nava Bharath International School, Coimbatore, between 26–30 August. Ten students from Kings School participated in this competition.
Amala Christy of Grade IX (Under 17) participated in the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 50m butterfly, 100m butterfly, and 200m butterfly. She competed in all the heats and was selected for the finals. She was placed in the fourth position in the finals.
Charvi Sarayu of Grade VIII (Under 14 category) participated in the 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke, and 4 × 100m freestyle relay. She won the gold medal in 50m freestyle and 4 × 100m freestyle relay. Charvi is now eligible to play the National Level Swimming Championship to be held at Odisha in the month of September 2025.
Jovanna Pearls Oviya of Grade VII (Under 14 category) participated in the 400m freestyle, 200m freestyle, and 200m breaststroke, in which she won a bronze medal; 4 × 100m freestyle relay in which she won a gold medal. Jovanna Pearls Oviya is selected for the National Level Swimming Championship to be held at Odisha in the month of September 2025.
Vivena Maria of Grade VII (Under 14 category) participated in the 50m butterfly, 100m butterfly, and 4 × 100m freestyle relay, in which she won a gold medal. She is selected to play the National Level Swimming Championship to be held at Odisha in the month of September 2025.
Karunya Christy of Grade VII (Under 14 category) participated in the 100m freestyle and 4 × 100m freestyle relay, in which she won a gold medal. She is selected to play the National Level Swimming Championship to be held at Odisha in the month of September 2025.
Gokul Ramnath of Grade XII (Under 17 category) participated in the 400m freestyle, 200m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke, and 200m backstroke. Gokul won the fourth position in 50m backstroke and 100m backstroke.
John Anto of Grade VII (Under 14 category) participated in the 50m breaststroke, 100m breaststroke, 50m backstroke, and 100m backstroke.
Sriman of Grade VI (Under 14 category) participated in the 400m freestyle, 200m freestyle, 100m freestyle, and 50m freestyle.
Kevith Ram of Grade V (Under 11 category) participated in the 50m breaststroke, 100m breaststroke, 100m freestyle, and 200m IM. He won the fourth position in 50m breaststroke and 100m breaststroke.
Lithick of Grade V (Under 11 category) participated in the 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke, and 50m butterfly.
