ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP ACHIEVEMENT

Our school students proudly participated in the XTR Academy Archery Championship 2026, held on 07th February at Amaravathi Sports Arena, Tirunelveli. The event was organized under the guidance of Mr. Thangaraja DFA, All National Level and TAAT State Level Archery Coach.

Students competed across categories including Bare Bow, Indian Bow, Recurve, and Compound. They demonstrated excellent focus, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.

Our students won prizes in Event 1 (Championship Match) and Event 2 (Gift Award Match – General Category), achieving success across multiple levels.

SILVER BELLS CHOIR COMPETITION

Silver Bells choir competition was held on December 5, 2025 in John's Central, Anjugramam. A team of teachers and students participated from our school.

CHRISTO YULETIDE CAROL COMPETITION

Christo Yuletide Carol Competition was held on December 6, 2025 at Christopher College, Surangudi. Ten Students from our school participated and Mr. Oliver received the best 'Choir Director Award'.

PET 1ST STATE LEVEL YOUNG MINDS CHESS TOURNAMENT 2025

The students of Kings School participated in the PET 1st State Level Young Minds Chess Tournament 2025, which was held on November 8, 2025, at PET Engineering College, Vallioor.

The tournament witnessed 185 participants from various schools and chess academies across the state. The event was organised under the guidance of Mr A. Murugananth, Tournament Director and Secretary of the Tirunelveli District Chess Development Association, and served as a remarkable platform for young chess enthusiasts to showcase their strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

The competition was conducted in multiple categories: Under 13 (6 rounds), Under 15 (5 rounds), and Under 19 (4 rounds). In the Under 19 category, our students performed exceptionally well, with Rainias of Class XI securing the 5th position and Bharath of Class XI achieving the 6th position, bringing pride to the school. We extended our heartfelt congratulations to all participants and winners for their commendable efforts and sportsmanship.

AAROHANAM 2025-26

An external competition Aarohanam was organised by Madurai Sahodaya Schools Complex in S R School of Excellence, Surandai on November 22, 2025. Our students participated in the events like Dance, Elocution, Thirukkural story telling, Design with Math, Collage, Song, Disaster management model making, Street play, On-The-Spot Journalism and Ethical Advertising. Students participated in a total of 15 events and bagged 8 first prizes and 3 second prizes in 11 different events.

FIRST MASTERS CUP INTERNATIONAL RAPID FIDE RATING CHESS TOURNAMENT – 2025

“Every move counts in the heat of battle”.

It was conducted by St. Johns College, Tirunelveli, on 12 October 2025 (Sunday). Ashwinth Michael of Class XII participated and won a cash prize of Rs 4000 along with a trophy.

OVER-ALL CHAMPIONSHIP OF PEGASUS 2K25

Our school proudly emerged as the overall champion in Pegasus 2K25 a prestigious interschool competition that brought together 20 schools from across the region. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication, talent and versatility of our students,who excelled not only in cultural events like dance and skits but also in a wide array of academic and intellectual challenges- from thought - provoking speeches and science exhibitions to competitive Olympiads and quizzes. Our students showcased their brilliance across disciplines, including futuristic science and innovation. This victory stands a testament to the holistic education we foster - where creativity meets critical thinking and performance meets purpose.

We celebrate this milestone with immense pride and gratitude, recognising the collective effort of our students, staff and the parents who made this success possible.

LOSA COMPETITION

External competition LOSA which was organized by TVS School in Madurai was held in the month of July 2025 on 18 & 19th. Students from KG to Grade 12 participated in this competition and got prizes in different competitions.

Competition like Fancy dress, Drawing, Storytelling, quiz, Science project display, Creative writing, Art from waste, Dumb charades, Rangoli, Business Tycoon, Nutrichef, Coding challenge, Academic marathon, Harmony unplugged, and Group dance was conducted for students.

Competitions like Quiz, Group dance and Guru Shishya was conducted for teachers also.Almost 90 students have participated in the competition. Our school got overall 2nd runner up in the competition.
