Welcome to Middle School (Classes VI–VIII)
The Middle School programme at Kings School for Classes VI to VIII focuses on strengthening core academic foundations in alignment with the CBSE curriculum. Emphasis is placed on conceptual clarity, critical thinking, and the gradual development of independent learning skills.
Teaching–learning practices encourage active classroom engagement, application-based learning, and continuous assessment to support academic progress across subjects. Equal importance is given to co-scholastic areas such as sports, arts, life skills, and value education, in line with CBSE’s holistic education framework.

Language
Students develop strong language proficiency through reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Emphasis is placed on comprehension, clear expression, and the ability to analyse and interpret literary texts with confidence and insight.
Mathematics
Mathematical learning focuses on logical reasoning, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding. Students are guided to apply mathematical concepts to real-world situations, strengthening accuracy, clarity of thought, and analytical skills.
Science

Preparatory Exams
In alignment with the CBSE assessment framework, Preparatory Exams are conducted every Wednesday to familiarise students with board-style question patterns, competency-based assessments and expected levels of academic rigour.
These structured assessments support continuous evaluation by helping students identify learning gaps and strengths through timely, constructive feedback. The process strengthens conceptual understanding, exam readiness, time management and confidence, ensuring students are well prepared for both school and board examinations.
Foundation course
Our Foundation Course is a specialised programme led by experienced faculty, designed for high-aspirational students who demonstrate strong interest and commitment to advanced learning. The course builds deep conceptual understanding while gradually introducing learners to higher levels of academic challenge.

From pencil sketching, clay modelling, and mask making to spell-bee, poem recitation, solo dance, and story narration, each activity offers children a joyful platform to explore their interests, discover new talents, and develop new skills. Participation is encouraged for all, ensuring that every child feels included and valued. Effort, enthusiasm, and progress are recognised through certificates and shields—celebrating growth as much as achievement.
