Republic day celebration

Republic day The National Flag Unfurling Ceremony on Republic Day

The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and patriotism at Kings School on 26th January 2026. The programme was organised scrupulously and witnessed zealous participation from students, teachers and the management. The celebration commenced with the national flag unfurling ceremony held at the football ground. The National Flag was unfurled by the Chairman with honour and the gathering paid their respects by standing in attention, reflecting the true spirit of unity and nationalism.

The programme continued at the A.K. Hall where a series of cultural events were presented by the students. The cultural programme began with a patriotic song performed by the students, beautifully expressing love for the nation and evoking a sense of pride among the audience.

The students staged a thought-provoking skit highlighting the struggles of tribal communities and how they were granted citizenship rights through Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s drafting of the Indian Constitution. The skit was creatively presented and included graceful dance performances which added depth and emotion to the message.

The programme was concluded with a final dance performance by the senior students which was energetic and well-coordinated, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

After the cultural events, the gathering was addressed by the Chairman and the Correspondent who spoke about the importance of the Constitution, the values of democracy and the responsibility of students as future citizens of the nation. The celebration came to a dignified close with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by the distribution of laddoos to all students and staff by the management. The celebration instilled national pride and unity among students.
