Rangolis are usually made during Diwali, Onam, Pongal, and other Hindu festivals in the Indian subcontinent, and are most often made during Diwali and Pongal. The rangoli represents happiness, positivity and liveliness of a household, and is intended to welcome Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and good luck. To celebrate pongal- Rangoli competition was decided to conduct for the class (VI-VIII).
Kings school always brings out the talent of the student. To bring out this talent from the student ,the Intraschool competition was conducted in our school in the month of January dated 6.1.2023 from 11.15 am to 12.15 pm for class (VI-VIII). Rangoli competition was carried as group event with 5 members in a group.
Totally 12 groups in class 6, 11 groups in class 7, 7 groups in class 8 were participated. The competition was carried out with the criteria’s like Creativity, Adherence to the theme, Colour combination, Overall presentation. All the students were participated enthusiastically.
The Competition was judged by Mrs.Manimala, Mrs.Jasmine.
