Our school commemorated the World Food Day on 12 October 2022. The classes VI to VIII celebrated this day by preparing fruit salad. The children brought fruits from their home and they were very much excited to celebrate this day. The celebration started around 1:00 P.M. The children chopped the fruits together in groups. The class teacher mixed all the fruits together in a big mixing bowl and added milkmaid and honey to it enhancing the sweetness of the salad. The Principal, the Section Head, the A.C.S and the staffs of VI to VIII visited all the classes and they tasted the fruit salads prepared by the students and congratulated them for their teamwork. The fruit salads were distributed by groups of children from each class to all the other teachers and they were eager to get feedback from those teachers and they shared with all their brothers and sisters. The day went well and it would be a day to be cherished for all the children and the teachers.
