EXTEMPORE COMPETITION

Extempore enables the student to think out of the box and off the feet. It is a great platform to develop communication skills and time management. Pushes one to conceive and generate ideas without any preparation.

                  Kings school always brings out the talent of the student. To bring out this talent from the student extempore competition was decided to conduct for the class (IX-X).

                        The Intraschool competition was conducted in our school in the month of July dated 9.7.2022 from 10.30 am to 11.30 am for class (IX-X). Different topics was chosen by the students and 3 minutes timing was given for their preparation.

• Climate Changes
• The Importance of trees
• Social Impact of Covid-19
• Unemployment in India
• About Animals
• The importance of health
• Importance of kindness
• Globalization
• Friends, family and relationships
• The need for advertisements
• Phones are distracting students from learning
• Discipline should be based on rewards, not punishments.
• Birds are not ment to live in cages.
• Why dogs are men’s best friend.

The competition was carried out with the criteria’s like Fluency in speech, Relevance to the topic, Gestures while speaking and Intonation voice. Students participated in the competition enthusiastically and the competition was judged by Mrs. Sophia Bruce, Ms. Aruna.
