74th Republic Day celebration -Report
As India woke up to celebrate its 74th Republic Day, students from both the Matric and the CBSE schools of KINGS turned up in large numbers around the Flag Mast ,located in Matric campus with joy , patriotic spirit and fervour on a cold and cloudy winter morning of Thursday January 26,2023 . After unfurling the National Flag, the hon’ble correspondent took the ceremonial Salute of School Pupil Leaders of both the schools and delivered the Republic Day keynote address in true spirit .In his speech, he urged the students to be a responsible citizen and a patriotic Indian and more importantly he asked them to give back the society what they have been getting from the country because of its democratic and constitutional framework that unites every Indian as one despite multiple social, economic, religious and cultural differences among themselves. Above all, he recalled and remembered all those who were instrumental for the Republic Day and paid rich tributes. Principals of both the schools took part in the event along with their deputies, teachers and beloved students. Rendition of patriotic songs by the Choir and orations of students charmed and graced the celebration. The celebration ended after the National Anthem and sweet distribution.
